Before coming to Canada, Putu had already explored creative and educational paths in her home country. With two years of experience as a freelance fashion model and one year as a freelance teacher, she came to 51本色 ready to grow her career in a new direction—digital marketing.

Putu quickly found that 51本色 offered more than just classes—it offered real-world preparation.
Her favorite classes included Social Media Planning, Campaign Development, Business Simulation, and Photoshop. But what stood out the most was the instructor, Robert.

During her co-op at Suzieblue Canada, Putu stepped into a managerial role in social media. Her responsibilities included content planning, brand positioning, and engaging with an online audience.
Her creativity and marketing instincts, paired with her training at CC, helped her succeed in a fast-paced retail environment.
Advice for Future Students
“Balancing school, part-time jobs, and community life in Vancouver is a challenge. Prioritize your tasks, take care of yourself, and don’t be afraid to ask for help. Connect with professionals, stay open to new cultures, and keep learning—even outside the classroom.”
